Many Pesticides formulations are on the market today. Some formulations can be used both by the homeowners and pest Operator (general use), while other formulations of the same pesticide may be used only by certified, licensed pest control operator. If a pesticides package is marked "for use by pest controllers" , the homeowner should not use such formulations . It would be an illegal use, and possibly cause a violation of the amateur applicator.

Several Pesticides , or some of their formulations can be on the market, or they may be restricted to certain uses made or to certified applicators. Therefore always read the label of the pesticide product before using it or buy .

Wettable powders, soluble powders and emulsifiable concentrates can all be mixed with water, but the percentage of pesticide is very different. Oil solutions are ready-to-use mixtures of pesticide and refined oil.

Aerosol sprays contain one or more Pesticides in a solvent and a propellant gas. These applicators produce a fine mist or spray. The active substance is usually a very small percentage of the spray. aerosol sprays having a base oil, can cause staining. Test fabrics before total treatment.

Baits contain a pesticide and some sort of attractive substance ( Sugar ). Granules are made coarse formulations of dusts for broadcast treatments. If a Spray prepared a desired percentage of the actual material, you need to know only the formulation when the box pesticide dilution. For example, a 0.5% diazinon spray is recommended for ant control. To a 0.5% diazinon spray using 24% emulsion concentrate, mix 5 tablespoons of diazinon in a gallon of water.

Outdoors, in general from 5 to 15 gallons prepared spray or 2 to 4 lbs. Dust per 1,000 square feet of lawn are sufficient for the surface treatment. be treated for the exact formulation of rates per area.
