A Hint of Autumn

                                                                          Hello everyone,

                                                           The last couple of days have been
                                                           hot and humid here but there are hints
                                                           autumn here and there as I have noticed
                                                           a few leaves starting to change and before
                                                           this heat wave struck the evenings were cool.

                                                           I am not one to give up on summer early
                                                           though so my tea today has just a hint
                                                           of fall.

                                                                     I picked a bouquet from the
                                                                     garden with some autumn
                                                                     colors.

                                                                             Using chintz teacups for
                                                                             our tea today.

                                                                            Daliahs, hydrangeas, cosmos,
                                                                            rudbeckias and phlox.

                                                                                 A vintage tablecloth that reminds
                                                                                 me of early fall colors.

                                                                A peek at the garden ~ still lots of
                                                                          color but definitely showing signs of
                                                                          decline after a dry summer and well
                                                                          a hint of fall in the air.
                                                                             I love all the seasons but just planning
                                                                           to enjoy summer as long as I can
                                                                                 My sister is home from Vancouver so
                                                                            we will be touring around the Island and
                                                                            enjoying time together.
