I can't believe we are already 3 days into another year!
2016 was a Great one and I feel like 2017 is going to be even better! Are you feeling the same way?
Today I thought it would be fun to have a look back at 2016 and countdown my most popular post of the year. And to make it even funner, I'm joining a big group of bloggers as they count down their top 10! I am really excited to see what was trending last year for blog post. If you are a blogger as well, then you may find this blog hop to be very helpful, it will let you see what other bloggers were writing about that got such a great response. Just by putting together this post I see that my house tours and paint colors were what you liked the most.
So lets get this party started!
This Driftwood Garland was really simple to make, collecting the driftwood from the beach though, just might be the hardest part.
I love decorating our home for summer, so this post was really fun to put together. My personal favorite picture from the tour was this one of our entryway with the beachy Bob Marley sign that I made.
I always like to start the year off with a big project, and last year I painted our kitchen tile backsplash. Looking back at these pictures makes me so happy that I did.
Got some empty coffee cans on hand? Why not recycle them into cute little buckets that are perfect for holding plants. I am currently hoarding a few more empty coffee cans, so be looking forward to some new ideas for them in the upcoming months.
In the fall, I joined 13 other bloggers as we each shared how we cozied up our homes for fall.
This post was really exciting for me, not only was I grouping up with an amazing group of bloggers, but we also got to pick out product from Birch Lane and be featured on Country Living's website. It was a lot of fun for me.
Another home tour to make my top 10 is my Spring tour. I'm already anticipating spring time to come this year, so this was a refreshing post for me to re-read.

This year's holiday home was my favorite yet. I think I really switch things up this year by limiting the color red and replacing it for bright greens. I really loved how it all came together.
It was really No surprise to see our paint color post listed as the 2nd most popular post this year. Who doesn't love discovering new paint colors?

At first I was pretty surprised to see that this post was the most popular post of the year, but after thinking it over, This post really was the most deserving. I put a lot of hard work into my kitchen this year. Not only did I paint the tile backsplash (seen in my #8 post) but I also painted the wood stove mount as well as add a fresh new color to the walls. So ya, our kitchen got quite a makeover this last year.
I would still like to make a few more changes in here, so maybe this new year will bring even more kitchen updates.
Looking through these post really has me excited to start on even more projects around our home.
I'm excited to see what 2017 has in store for The Wicker House.
I hope that you will continue on this decorating journey with me.
