Attention to all Breakfast and Brunch Lovers!
I have a new cookbook that I want to share with you today.
It's called,
Welcome to Buttermilk Kitchen by Suzanne Vizethann
Suzanne Vizethann is an award-winning chef and owner of Atlanta's critically acclaimed Butternut Kitchen restaurant, serving up farm-to-table Southern comfort food.
You may also know Suzanne Vizethann as the winner of the Chopped competition on the Food Network cooking competition show.
Welcome to Buttermilk Kitchen presents creative recipes for biscuits, butters and jams, pickles, grits, pastries, traditional classics, and so much more! looking through Welcome to Buttermilk Kitchen left me feeling inspired to create a delicious meal from scratch.
I have taken pictures of just a few images from the book to give you a little preview of this beautiful cookbook, but I highly suggest you pick up a copy for yourself to see all of the delicious recipes.
Pictured above are the Buttermilk Biscuits that started it all.
And pictured below are those Buttermilk Biscuits smothered with Sawmill Gravy.
Biscuits and gravy are one of my top breakfast choices and so this is the first recipe that I plan to make very very soon.
In honor of Suzanne's father, she reserved a special place on the menu for her dad's cherished breakfast creation which she named Ray's Waffle Burger.
Now I would never have thought to use waffles as a hamburger bun but now I Must try it.
Suzanne has also included a section in this cookbook for Drinks, which includes recipes for Mimosa's, Sweet tea, and this Cold Brew Russian pictured below that is practically jumping off the page insisting that I give it a try.
Welcome to Buttermilk Kitchen isn't just another cookbook about breakfast and brunch foods. This cookbook is special. It gives you a feeling of wanting to spend a lazy weekend morning, gathered in the kitchen, preparing a meal that is fresh and homemade with love.
If you love to cook then I highly you add this cookbook to your collection.
You can purchase it HERE.
