Early August in the Garden

                                                                         Hello everyone,

                                                            I can't believe it is August already.

                                                            August is the most colorful time in
                                                            our garden and in spite of a drier
                                                            summer than usual the garden is
                                                            doing well.

                                                                        Hydrangeas and monkshood.

                                                                            Clematis.

                                                                        Hollyhocks are blooming
                                                                        now as well.

                                                                     This part of the garden is outside
                                                                     our main door and also the front porch.
                                                                     It is enclosed with a picket fence and
                                                                     has an arbor in and another arbor out.

                                                                            Our roses are blooming well
                                                                             this summer.

                                                     Well, that is a short tour around part
                                                                of our garden. Soon, I will share the
                                                                the rest of it while all the day lilies are
                                                                putting on their show.
