An Autumn Picnic

                                                                             Good morning!

                                                           With all the beautiful sunny warm autumn
                                                           days we have had this year, there have been
                                                           lots of days still enjoyable for an outdoor
                                                           picnic.

                                                                          Love this rusty old lantern.

I gathered up my old plaid picnic can and a wool

plaid throw and set about getting a picnic ready.

I hope you brought the food because alas my 

picnic box is empty!

                                                          A woody site by the water is perfect
                                                          for an autumn picnic with the sound
                                                          of the waves on the shore below.

                 This was a quick impromptu photo shoot today

                                                     but next time I will plan ahead and pack

      my picnic basket with goodies to enjoy.

                                                 We enjoyed a more relaxing weekend
                                                            and actually took time out to go canoeing
                                                            as soon the season will be past for another
                                                            year.
                                                                 Don't worry he didn't go without me!
